Aras Stone
The Aras Stone Factory Group, managed by the Shafiei brothers, was established in 1380 (2001) on a 5,000-square-meter site with one production hall equipped with two block-cutting machines and one tile production line, aiming to produce high-quality building stones. Given that Iran possesses some of the world’s finest decorative stone quarries and considering the continuous improvement in the quality of domestic stone-processing machinery, the management of this group undertook the modernization of factory equipment and machinery in order to specialize in processing Iranian stone, gain access to global markets, and satisfy domestic customers.
In 1385 (2006), the management of the Aras Stone Factory Group decided to focus on the specialized production of White Joshaghan Marble, as well as the extraction and specialized production of Black Tihuvo Marble and Garmsar Travertine with export-quality standards.
